Engaging the University community in leading students to Northwestern.
A campaign bringing the Northwestern community together to reach out to prospective students was introduced on campus last week. Staff from Admissions and Student Affairs teamed up to hand out t-shirts, window decals and information on the Lead the Way program to students and staff at the Student Senate cook-out.
Lead the Way is a marketing campaign designed to generate awareness and encourage students, staff and alumni to actively spread the word about Northwestern and our programs and degrees. It includes incentives, recognition and rewards for those who refer students. The campaign was rolled out to alumni earlier this month at the Alumni Golf Tournament, and faculty were also invited to participate earlier this month.
Throughout the summer in support of Lead the Way you will see ads for Northwestern on Metro Transit bus wraps and bus sides, in KS95 radio ads, and at the Minnesota State Fair. Lead the Way is an all-University effort for student recruitment that will continue into the fall and beyond.
