Discover Microsoft Office 365

To log into your email, go to: mail.nwhealth.edu and log in with your NWHSU credentials.

The login credentials for Microsoft Office 365 are used to set up your multi-factor authentication (MFA) with the Microsoft Authenticator application on a smart device.

Students: The NWHSU network credentials will be created after the application process with Admissions. You will receive your NWHSU network credentials to the account on file. If you are a student having issues logging into your email, please log in to check your account on Colleague Self Service.

Faculty and Staff: The NWHSU network credentials will be created following the process with Human Resources. You will receive your NWHSU network credentials to the account on file.

Alumni: The NWHSU network credentials will be the same email address used as a student.

Northwestern Health Sciences University provides Office 365, a web-based service that provides a feature-rich set of tools for collaboration using Microsoft cloud-based products. Applications such as  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook email. Available at no extra cost through the Microsoft Student Advantage program. Office 365 gives students, faculty, and staff at the University access to the latest versions of the Microsoft Office Suite, with all the features and functions you’ve come to expect.

Create, collaborate, edit, and view files – even when you’re on the go. Office 365 is anywhere you need it to be: your PC or laptop, tablet, or phone.

Microsoft Office 365 Training and Resources

For updated information on how to use the Microsoft applications, visit: Microsoft 365 Training. Depending on the device that you have Office 365 installed on, the applications may be altered slightly or have a different version of the tools. The local or client application may be slightly different from the cloud version of the application. Microsoft offers a help feature on their products and typically found on the ? icon. The Outlook Training available on Microsoft’s support site offers videos, tutorial and breaks down the Microsoft Outlook Email application per device. Microsoft Advantage Program – Office for Free!

Getting Started with the Microsoft Advantage Program.
Office 365 provides a web-based portal where you can install Office 365. Keep in mind that you have to be a local administrator on a computer to install Office 365.

  • Go to: http://mail.nwhealth.edu
  • Log in using your NWHSU network credentials
  • Click on the App launcher (waffle icon) on the upper left-hand side of the screen
  • Click on Microsoft 365 ->
  • Click on the Install apps button on the upper right-hand side of the screen
  • Follow the prompts to install up to five devices
  • Office 365 for NWHSU students, staff, and faculty makes learning easily accessible!
