National Board Exams – National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE)

Parts I, II, III, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture

Application and exam information:

January Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

Student eligibility:

  • PART 1:   Enrolled as T5 and above for upcoming Winter term
  • PART 2:   Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term
  • PART 3:   Enrolled as T8 and above for upcoming Winter term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time (9 months of test date). 
  • PT:  Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term (after completing 120 hours of instructional time or PT 1, 2 and 3)

March Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

Student eligibility:

  • PART 1:   Enrolled as T5 and above for upcoming Winter term
  • PART 2:   Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term

  • PART 2:  Enrolled as T6 and above for Summer Term 
  • PART 3: Enrolled as T9 and above for Summer Term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time (9 months of test date)
  • PT:  Enrolled as T7 and above for Summer Term (after completing 120 hours of instructional time or PT 1, 2 and 3)

Part IV

Application and exam information:

Spring 2018 Administration - Part IV

Student eligibility:

  • PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Summer Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time (6 months of test date)
Fall 2018 Administration - Part IV

Student eligibility:

  • PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Fall Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time (6 months of test date)

Application process

To qualify to sit for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Board Exams, you must receive authorization from the Office of the Registrar. It is your responsibility to make sure the application is complete and completed on-time.

  1. Create a user account at mynbce.org
  2. Review application and payment schedules
  3. Apply for exam and submit for authorization.
  4. The Office of the Registrar will authorize your application online with NBCE.  Please pay close attention to deadlines.  The Office of the Registrar receives requests for approval from NBCE in batches.  Batches received after business hours on the deadline date may not be authorized until the next business day.  Please submit your application by noon to ensure same day approval.
