Currently Teaching (2017-2018)

My interests in massage therapy have varied over the 20 years I have been practicing. My passion for the past few years has been working with students in our Cancer and Massage class, and supervising them at Minnesota Oncology at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Regions Hospital. I would like to explore research in the cancer and massage field through further studies on pain or neuropathy.

it is a wonderful time to be involved in massage therapy. It is exciting to see how our opportunities have increased in the traditional health care setting. My favorite aspect of working at Northwestern is seeing the student’s enthusiasm for this profession and being involved in their learning process. By mentoring students throughout their time here, I hope to ensure their success when they graduate.

I have had great opportunities at Northwestern working on research studies for tension headaches, and participating in an integrative care team that provides treatment for low back pain.
