I am a forever student, and learn so much from my patients, other practitioners, and the world around us. My philosophy of practice is to recognize and trust in the body’s ability to heal. While I am so fortunate to have found Chinese Medicine as a career, I fully believe that the patient’s body is doing all the heavy-lifting. The treatment is simply a guide to remind their body of its potential for balance and health. Our bodies certainly are resilient, but when the body needs a reminder, I love to be there with you.

My training includes a lot of time spent at Northwestern Health Sciences University since I began here in 2006. I am a graduate of the Massage Therapy program, the Acupuncture program, as well as the Chinese Herbal program.

I find a very well-rounded treatment includes not only needles, but empathy and kind therapeutic touch.

With my background in Massage Therapy, I value this non-verbal communication greatly.

I also love Cupping! It is an excellent addition to acupuncture and can help with pain and stress immensely.

On a personal note:

With my background in Wilderness Education/Therapy, I find life is better outside in the fresh air! When I’m not working, one can find me hiking in the woods with my Great Dane, Frankie.
