Impacting Generations to Come
You help our students receive a strong education which will make them better practitioners.
“Giving to Northwestern represents a small token of my appreciation to an institution that has given me and others so much.” says Dr. Linda Hanson, a 2009 graduate of the College of Chiropractic.
Financial gifts have a lasting impact on Northwestern’s ability to educate current and future practitioners, according to Dr. Hanson. “By donating to Northwestern, you help our students receive a strong education which will make them better practitioners. Once they’re practicing, they can stay current through the University’s continuing education programs, which are also supported by contributions.”
Dr. Hanson wants to make sure there’s enough support for the University’s research in complementary and alternative health care. “Northwestern’s researchers, faculty and worldwide collaborators are creating new knowledge about natural health care, and this effort requires resources. That’s why I give what I can. This work has the potential of enhancing the quality of health care that people receive.”
Dr. Hanson takes the long view of complementary and alternative medicine, and wants to support its growth well into the future. “Your contributions can have an impact for generations to come, and have a real influence in how natural health care is learned and practiced.”
She emphasizes that these important gifts can come from everyone who supports Northwestern – including alumni, students, and corporations. “If you value Northwestern’s work, it’s easy to support it with your pocketbook.”
