New Student Orientation

All new students are required to attend orientation to ease the transition into academic and student life. Orientation is designed to acquaint new students with each other and the larger campus community, including faculty and staff.

Summer 2020 New Student Orientation

Winter 2020 New Student Development Workshop Series

All incoming students are required to attend the New Student Development workshop series during their first trimester. Sessions take place monthly and students can choose to go to the afternoon or evening session. Students will be sent a link to sign up for the session of their choice. The workshops for the winter 2020 trimester will be held at the following dates at the following times:

Thursday, January 9, 2020 :

  • 11:00am-1:00pm or 4:00pm-6:00pm

Thursday, February 6, 2020 :

  • 11:00am-1:00pm or 4:00pm-6:00pm

Thursday, March 5, 2020 :

  • 11:00am-1:00pm or 4:00pm-6:00pm

Required signed certifications and waivers

Prior to attending New Student Orientation, students must review and sign the following waivers and certifications confirming they have read and understand required policies and other key information.

These forms will be sent to students prior to Orientation and can be signed and returned electronically.

Students who register for classes and Orientation close to the start of the term may find it useful to bring printed and completed forms to Orientation or fax them to 952-886-7566.
