New Student Orientation
Welcome, New Students!
Welcoming incoming students starting in the Summer 2023 term! All new students are required to attend an orientation to ease the transition into academic and student life. Orientation is designed to acquaint new students with each other and the larger campus community, including faculty and staff.
Please note that there are two separate summer orientation sessions, and you should attend the session that aligns with the program you will be starting in.
Summer Start Session 1
New Student Orientation: Monday, May 1st, 2023 (Classes begin May 2)
Programs included:
- Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
- Massage Therapy
- Med Lab Science
- Radiologic Technology
- Select PBPH/BS in Human Biology courses (A&P, Med Term, and Anatomy)

New Student Orientation: Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 (Classes begin May 30)
Programs included:
- Chiropractic
- Medical Assistant
- Remaining PBPH/BS in Human Biology courses

Please reach out to admissions (admit@nwhealth.edu) if you are unable to attend any portion of the orientation to make accommodations.
Fall and winter term orientation information will be available closer to the term start dates.
Required policies and documents
Prior to attending New Student Orientation, you are required to read the following policies and documents (also listed on the Admitted Students Checklist).
A. Program Technical Standards (Qualifications):

Required signed certifications and waivers
Prior to attending New Student Orientation, students must review and sign the following waivers and certifications confirming they have read and understand required policies and other key information.
These forms will be sent to students prior to Orientation and can be signed and returned electronically.

Students who register for classes and Orientation close to the start of the term may find it useful to bring printed and completed forms to Orientation or fax them to 952-886-7566.
