Martin Javinsky, MT, L.Ac.

Martin JavinskyMartin Javinsky, MT, L.Ac., has been a practitioner and educator in the healing arts for over 30 years. A massage therapist and licensed acupuncturist, he has spent the past two decades teaching in the Massage Therapy Program at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He currently teaches Ethics & Professionalism, Professional Development – Job Search Skills, Introduction to Specific Populations, and Introduction to Energy Medicine (which he created). He also created and previously taught Pre Clinic Workshop, which prepares students for their clinical internships. Martin is known for his authentic and engaging teaching style, and for helping students navigate the real-world complexities of clinical practice by cultivating trust in their inner wisdom. He has been honored three times as Teacher of the Year by Northwestern’s massage therapy students. His work emphasizes professionalism, self-awareness, and the cultivation of a safe, grounded presence in therapeutic relationships.
