Homecoming 2026: Michelle Mick

Michelle MickDr. Michelle A. Mick (Wessely) obtained her chiropractic degree and chiropractic radiology diplomate (DACBR) in the United Kingdom, at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth. She completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of California, San Diego under Professor Donald Resnick, MD. She returned to Europe in 2002 as the Head of Radiology (Academic and Clinical) and of Clinical Research at the Institut Franco-Europeen de Chiropratique (IFEC) (the French chiropractic college), a post that she held for 12 years, during which time she lectured throughout Europe and further afield. Michelle has since completed two short musculoskeletal MRI fellowships under Dr. Stephen Pomeranz in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Michelle has lectured extensively throughout Europe, North America and Australia on all aspects of imaging, from basic imaging reviews to special imaging interpretation. Her work has been published in international journals including Acta Radiologica and Clinical Chiropractic. In 2011, Michelle co-authored Essential Musculoskeletal MRI, a book designed to assist clinicians in MR imaging utilization and interpretation. Michelle splits her time between imaging interpretation, with RAYUS and at secondsightradiology.com, providing imaging interpretation for clinicians, and lecturing to students and colleagues.

Michelle lives in St Paul, Minnesota, with her husband, also a DC, DACBR, Dr Tim Mick and 2 children, Isaac (14) and Freya (10). When she is not working, you can find Michelle driving the children to sports practices (with budding soccer and tennis players!), in the garden, volunteering in the community, or singing solos and recitals around the Twin Cities.
