Enhanced Stress Resilience Training

You know what gets in the way of our vitality? Stress.

However, we can re-shape the way we respond to stress using mindfulness-based cognitive skills. Enhanced Stress Resilience Training (ESRT) is a research-backed program, originally developed for physicians and surgeons and refined over nearly a decade of clinical study, that teaches practical skills for staying grounded under pressure. Through short weekly sessions, participants build three core habits: greater self-awareness of thoughts and reactions, the ability to stay steady in emotionally charged moments, and a stronger connection to what their mind and body are telling them. Open to NWHSU staff, faculty, and community members interested in building lasting resilience. There is no prior mindfulness experience needed, and established meditators find this series to be supportive in their personal practice.
