Students complete the program in 7 trimesters (just over two years). The first 5 trimesters are classroom with clinical experiences and the final 2 trimesters are in-clinic.

Beyond a high school diploma (or GED) with a GPA of 2.75 or higher, students will need eight hours of adequate shadowing. There are no other prerequisites for entry to the program; however, there are several core science courses as well as an introductory lab course that must be completed during the student’s first trimester.
Graduates are prepared to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination and other state licensing exams.
