Teaching philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that students learn best when they are active participants in their own education. As a student-centered educator, I create learning environments that foster engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and professional growth through active learning, flipped classroom strategies, problem-based learning, and hands-on experiences. Rather than serving solely as the source of knowledge, I guide students in developing expertise by encouraging them to take ownership of their learning, apply foundational concepts to real-world problems, and reflect on their experiences. Through a combination of technology-enhanced instruction, collaborative activities, authentic assessments, and experiential learning opportunities, I challenge students to move beyond memorization toward analysis, application, and clinical reasoning. My goal is to develop adaptable, evidence-based practitioners who are confident problem-solvers, lifelong learners, and professionals prepared to meet the evolving needs of the clients and communities they serve.
