Alumni Referral Scholarship
This scholarship is available to incoming Chiropractic students who have been referred to Northwestern Health Sciences University by an alum. It is awarded to students who have received full acceptance and subsequently enroll in the chiropractic program.
Awards available
- $500 awarded during your first trimester
Awarded to applicants to the chiropractic program who indicated a referral from a NWHSU graduate.

- Referral by a Northwestern Health Sciences University alum
- Alum information must be provided for verification, including:
- Full Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Profession
- Place of Practice
- Address
Application procedure
Incoming students can apply for the Alumni Referral Scholarship as part of their admissions application through the Student Application Portal. Start your application today!
To apply:

Go to the Referral to NWHSU section in the application.

Indicate that you were referred by an NWHSU alum.

Check the box to be considered for the Alumni Referral Scholarship.

Provide the referring alum’s email address and clinic information.

Use promo code Alum50 to waive the $50 application fee.

Award notification
A letter of award will be sent by the Scholarship Committee and Office of Admissions upon final confirmation of eligibility. You can also review scholarship applications and awards through the Student Application Portal.

Scholarship limit
Students are not eligible to receive a combination of scholarships and/or tuition remission benefits totaling more than 100% of the cost of their tuition.
Upon receipt of a scholarship award, an adjustment may be made to your financial aid package to meet federal regulations and institutional policies.
