Northwestern and the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) are engaged in a partnership that provides Open Upright™ MRI to doctors of chiropractic and medical doctors in the Twin Cities. Services are available in two locations, in St. Louis Park and Woodbury. All images are read by Northwestern and CDI radiologists.
The Open Upright MRI™ scans patients in upright, weight-bearing positions, in addition to the conventional recumbent positions. The Open Upright™ MRI uses Fonar technology, which is the only magnetic imagery that can scan patients in the position where symptoms are most problematic.”
