How to Apply to the MHS in Human Performance
We are excited to announce the NEW Master’s in Human Performance program!
We will soon accept applications for the following terms:
Entry Terms: Fall, Winter, and Summer
- Winter 2027
Classes Start: Wednesday, January 6, 2027 - Summer 2027
Classes Start: Wednesday, May 5, 2027 - Fall 2027
Classes Start: Wednesday, September 8, 2027
Before you apply: Review the admission requirements
We will accept applications up to two weeks before the start of the term, depending on class availability.
Step 1 – Complete application in online portal
Login to the Student Application Portal to start your online application. At any time, you may save your application, logout, and complete it later.
Statement of Purpose
Please submit a brief one-page statement discussing the following questions. Completion of this one-page statement is part of the admissions process, but the content of your response will not be used to influence the admissions decision.
- How will earning a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Human Performance help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
- What excites you about the MHS in Human Performance program at NWHSU?
- Share an experience that tested your resilience, leadership, teamwork, or problem-solving skills.
- What did you learn from this experience, and how will it help you succeed in graduate school and your future career?
Step 2 – Submit Transcripts
Request official academic transcripts from your bachelor’s degree-granting college or university to be sent directly to Northwestern Health Sciences University. To request an official transcript, contact the Registrar’s Office at your prior institution(s). Transcripts from any previous graduate-level work are also required.
