Military Scholarship
NWHSU military scholarships are awarded to qualified individuals enrolled in these academic programs:
- Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
- Chiropractic (including B.S. completion program)
- Integrative Care
- Massage Therapy (Certificate and A.A.S. degree)
- Medical Assisting
- Medical Laboratory Science Completion
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Nutrition (Certificates and M.S. degree)
- Radiation Therapy
- Radiologic Technology
- Undergraduate Health Sciences (including Post-Bacc Pre-Health)
NWHSU Military Scholarship – 20% tuition discount
Awards available
- 20% off tuition for each trimester
- Unlimited number of awards
Eligibility requirements
Qualified U.S. military personnel in the following classifications are eligible:
- Veterans honorably discharged (DD214 documentation required)
- Active Duty (copy of military ID card required)
- Active Reserve/National Guard (copy of military ID card required)
Scholarship Limit
- Students are not eligible to receive a combination of scholarships and/or tuition remission benefits totaling more than 100% of the cost of their tuition.

NWHSU Military Spouse and Child Scholarship – 15% tuition discount
Awards available
- 15% off tuition for each trimester
- Unlimited number of awards
Eligibility requirements
Married to or a child* of a military service member who is a(n):
- Veteran honorably discharged (DD214 documentation required)
- Active Duty (copy of current military ID card of spouse or parent required)
- Active Reserve/National Guard (copy of current military ID card of spouse or parent required)
* The child does not have to be a dependent child.

Please note: Applicants who are eligible to receive both of the above scholarships will only receive the NWHSU Military Scholarship discount of 20 percent.
