SCROLLS FROM CHINA
The exquisite Chinese scrolls featured in our Great River marketing and website banner, were purchased through Scrolls from China, an organization which supports gifted child artists living in an orphanage near Chongqing. The “Li River” scroll featured in the banner above was painted by 15-year-old Xiao Fan, a talented artist with a wonderful knowledge of balance and landscapes. The Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine will host a reception and dinner on Saturday evening to commemorate your dedication to the profession. The dinner will take place at Northwestern Health Sciences University.

On Friday evening, you will have a chance to join some of your friends and sample the art, entertainment, and cultural events of the Twin Cities. Take advantage of Minnesota's internationally recognized Guthrie Theater, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and the Historic Orpheum Theatre for Broadway-based plays and musicals. For art, the Twin Cities offer the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Walker Art Center. If shopping is of interest, don't miss the world-renowned Mall of America, located just minutes from the University.
