2023: Working Together to Achieve Success
Fiscal year 2023 is one we will remember as a collaborative success in the face of challenges. Up against nationwide declining enrollment in higher education, all of us at NWHSU—leadership, administration, faculty, staff, and supporters—needed to work together to stay in the black without sacrificing quality.
You will see in the report below that we were fiscally successful, but that doesn’t tell the full story. We increased enrollment in Fall 2023, controlled costs, created new and more efficient ways of doing our work, invested in academic quality, and benefitted from a pandemic-related tax credit. Given these factors and the hard work of faculty and staff, we were able to improve our financial performance for FY2023.
