Dr. Badua attended George Mason University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During that time, he completed an internship at United Wellness & Sports Rehab under the mentorship of Dr. Hirad NajafBagy. During his internship, he developed a deeper appreciation for evidence-based rehabilitation and collaborated on an exercise progression manual for their rehabilitation department.

Returning to NWHSU

Dr. Badua received his Doctor of Chiropractic from NWHSU in December of 2024. He was inspired by his mentors who were also graduates of the program. Dr. Badua worked in several associate positions after graduating, refining his clinical approach by integrating chiropractic care with individualized exercise rehabilitation.

His treatment philosophy emphasizes evidence-based care through chiropractic adjustments. He also incorporates advanced extremity adjusting, soft tissue therapies, progressive rehabilitation, and balance and coordination training.

Why Sports Chiropractic?

“Growing up in Ashburn, Virginia, I was actively involved in sports from an early age, participating in football, soccer, and lacrosse. Through these experiences, I gained firsthand exposure to sports medicine, both as an athlete and through the injuries and rehabilitation that often accompany competition. Those experiences sparked my passion for helping others recover from injury, improve performance, and return to the activities they enjoy.

Today, I enjoy working with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve performance. My goal is to provide every patient with high-quality, research-informed care that combines clinical experience with the latest evidence to help them achieve lasting results.

I look forward to meeting everyone, collaborating with fellow students and faculty, and contributing to the NWHSU community!”

Welcome back to NWHSU, Dr. Kai Badua!
