Prepare for a Career Changing Patients’ Lives
Acupuncture is no longer on the margins of healthcare. NWHSU College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine graduates work in thriving private practices, and within Mayo Clinic, Allina Health, and other major health systems. You can join them with a Master of Acupuncture (MAc) or Doctor of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (DAcCHM). Both balance deep grounding in Chinese medicine theory with the biomedical fluency you need to practice in the current healthcare environment.
From your first day on campus, you’ll develop hands-on and diagnostic skills, preparing you to support patients with whole-person care. By the time you graduate, you won’t just be prepared to pass your boards and meet licensure requirements. You’ll be prepared to make a difference for your patients and confidently build a successful career.
