Valerie Darger, BCTMB
Clients can expect Valerie to provide a trauma-informed, transparent space that is evidence-based, prioritizing the autonomy and unique needs of each individual.
Valerie (she/her and they/them pronouns) aims to provide a compassionate and collaborative space for clients to connect with their body through restorative touch. With their training in therapeutic and relaxation massage, as well as craniosacral therapy, Valerie offers a range of techniques to adults experiencing pain, fatigue, and nervous system dysregulation. Grounded in a curiosity for the mysterious capacity of the body to heal itself, Valerie’s approach is gentle and invites clients to reconnect with the innate safety of their own body. Clients can expect Valerie to provide a trauma-informed, transparent space that is evidence-based, prioritizing the autonomy
and unique needs of each individual.
She has studied craniosacral therapy through the Heartwood Institute of Integrative Medicine. She has had the privilege of working with many types of clients in her time as a massage student at Northwestern Health Sciences University, from patients in the MN Oncology infusion room, to post-stroke survivors, to those simply seeking relief from muscle tension or stress.

On a personal note:
In their free time Valerie enjoys spending time in nature, reading, at the gym, making art and music, dancing, and spending time with her partner, friends and family. Valerie’s presence and practice is informed by her experience as a white, queer, neurodivergent human that grew up in Minneapolis, having lived with chronic pain for many years.
