It is a mode of teaching delivery that allows for in-person or synchronous online attendance of lectures, or watching the lectures asynchronously.

Yes, we’ve had students learn from Japan, Italy, and Puerto Rico as just a few examples. More commonly, students use the remote option when they need to be close to home and work or cannot commute to campus.

It depends on the school. Many will, but not all so be sure to check with your preferred schools.

Several of our courses require hands-on learning components. Some courses will mail remote students a lab kit and others will use simulations that can be completed online.

Other students choose a hybrid model of learning where they will take some courses remotely. Then they will enroll in multiple hands-on courses over one or two terms. With this arrangement, students only need to commute for those terms.

Yes, you can still feel like you are part of the PBPH community and reap the benefits of speakers and events while learning remotely.
