How to Request Lab Services at NWHSU Clinics in Four Steps

NWHSU Second Point
Confirm & Pay for Your Order

You’ll receive a welcome email from notifications@janeapp.com to complete your account setup, where you can enter your credit card information. We’ll also call you to confirm your selections, at which time we can process your payment over the phone, if you prefer. 

NWHSU Third Point
Get Your Labs Drawn at Any Quest Location

We’ll send you a notification through Jane EMR when your order is ready and you can go to the lab. You may visit any Quest Diagnostics location at your convenience for specimen collection. 

NWHSU Fourth Point
Receive Your Results

Lab results are typically available within approximately 2 weeks via the Quest App, MyQuest Portal. 

Frequently Asked Questions – Lab Services

Direct Access Lab Testing allows you to request certain laboratory tests without needing a provider’s visit or referral. You choose which tests you want, submit the request form, and we take care of the rest.

No. Direct Access Lab Testing does not require a clinic appointment or provider approval.

Simply complete the online form above and select the tests you want ordered. Our team will register you in our Jane EMR system and contact you for payment.

After you submit your request, a team member will call you to securely collect payment before your lab order is sent to Quest Diagnostics.

You may go to any Quest Diagnostics location that is convenient for you. Once your order is placed, Quest will have it in their system and ready when you arrive.

Result times vary depending on the test. Most results are available within a few days, though some specialized tests may take up to two weeks to be finalized.

Your results will be released directly to you through the Quest Patient Portal. 

Direct Access Lab Testing does not include a provider review or interpretation of results. Please contact your primary provider if you’d like to review lab testing results.

No. Direct Access Lab Testing is self-pay only. Payment is collected prior to submitting your lab order. 

Some tests do require fasting (such as glucose or lipid panels). 

NWHSU Clinical Laboratory staff cannot advise on laboratory test selection. Test decisions must be made independently. If you require advisement on lab panel selection, please consult with a healthcare provider.
