Making gifts is a basic part of all estate plans, but the options are not familiar to many of us. To help, we invite you to attend a free online webinar, 12-1pm, May 13th, to learn about effective strategies for gifts to loved ones and to charities that are important to you. The webinar will include suggestions for ways to give that are meaningful as well as tax efficient. Also included: strategies for making gifts during life and as part of an estate plan, gifts from retirement accounts and using trusts. There will be time for questions.
The webinar will be presented by Jane Godfrey, an estate planning attorney in the Twin Cities and who spent the last 12 years at a university foundation where she enjoyed helping donors develop effective gift strategies.
