Office 365 – Information and Resources
A University-wide migration from Groupwise to Microsoft’s cloud-based collaboration suite called Office 365 has been implemented.
Get to your email:
To log into your email, go to: http://mail.nwhealth.edu and log in:
For Students:
- Use your full NWHSU email address and network password (This is the same password you use to log into Centricity. If you have never used Centricity then use your student ID number.) to log in.
For Faculty and Staff:
- Use your full NWHSU email address and network password (This is the same password you use to log into your work computer) to log into your work computer) to log in.
For Alumni:
- Use your full NWHSU email address and password to log in.
On your first login, you will need to select your Time Zone. Select Central Time (US & Canada)

Northwestern Health Sciences University provides Office 365, a web-based service that provides a feature-rich set of tools for collaboration using Microsoft cloud-based products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, and cloud-based email. Available at no extra cost through the Microsoft Student Advantage program, Office 365 gives students, faculty, and staff at the University access to the latest versions of the Microsoft Office Suite, with all the features and functions you’ve come to expect.

Getting Started with the Microsoft Advantage Program…
Office 365 provides a web-based portal where you can install Office 365. Keep in mind that you have to be a local administrator on a computer to install Office 365.
- Go to: http://mail.nwhealth.edu
- Log in using your NWHSU email address and password
- Password For Students:
Use your full NWHSU email address and network password (This is the same password you use to log into Centricity. If you have never used Centricity then use your student ID number.) to log in. - Password For Faculty and Staff:
Use your full NWHSU email address and network password (This is the same password you use to log into your work computer) to log in.
- Password For Students:
- Locate the App launcher (icon looks like a waffle) on the left-hand side of the screen on click on it
- Click on Office 365 (in blue font color) just to the right of the App launcher
- Locate the Install Office button on the right-hand side of the screen and click on it and select Office 365 apps
- Follow the prompts
Important: When logging in to Office 365 for the first time, click the OneDrive link on the top blue menu bar to unlock your 1 TB of cloud storage.
