• The Legacy of Leadership Scholarship is intended to recognize outstanding leadership qualities and a commitment to the chiropractic profession

• Enrolled in a CCE approved college of chiropractic post-graduate orthopedics course leading to diplomate or the master’s degree program leading to a health science degree in orthopedics
• A career objective to specialize in chiropractic orthopedics

• Applicants must be active dues-paying members in their local SABCA chapter as well as active dues-paying members to the National ABCA organization
• Must have completed their 3rd Quarter/2nd Trimester in an accredited DC program
• Along with the application and essay, students are asked to submit an official college transcript and two letters of recommendation

• Plan to practice in Nebraska upon graduation from chiropractic college/university
• Maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA while completing undergraduate and graduate studies
• Resided in Nebraska for at least two years or graduated from a high school in Nebraska
• Currently a student member of the NCPA or become a student member of the NCPA

• The student must be a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society and have successfully completed a minimum of 5 trimesters and maintained a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the time of application.  The student must be willing to reside and practice in the state of Iowa

• Macomb County, Michigan, resident
• Either a) enrolled in chiropractic college b) enrolled in undergraduate program with intent of becoming a chiropractic physician OR c) high school senior with intent to study the chiropractic field upon graduation

• Enrolled in a US, CCE-accredited, chiropractic program at any time during 2024.
• In good academic standing and the student’s essay must be submitted before the deadline on October 1, 2024.   Contest Instructions:

1. Submit an original essay on any topic of your choice, as long as the topic is relevant to chiropractic.  These may include:  history, philosophy, practice perspectives, jurisprudence/law, ethics, theory, sociology, politics, or social sciences.
2. An original essay, submitted as a Word document.  Length:  no shorter than 1,200 and no longer than 3,000 words.  Word count does not include title or references.  On the first page include your 1) name, 2) cell phone, and 3) email.
3. A letter from your registrar confirming you are enrolled and in good academic standing in your chiropractic program.
4. Judging criteria:  relevance to the chiropractic profession, scholarly style, writing quality, originality, and use of references.
5. Announcements of winning essays will be made by December 31, 2024.
6. Only one essay is allowed per student per competition and only one author per essay.  Students who submitted or won in the past may compete again.

• Giva’s Corporate Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award is for anyone attending a college or university in the United States.  This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students in furthering their education as well as expanding their social responsibility and community service footprint in the world.

Massage Therapy

• Enrolled or admitted in a 500-hour minimum, entry-level massage therapy program at the time the time the scholarship application is submitted
• Complete the application and, in a few sentences, share why you want to be a massage therapist

• This scholarship is available to any massage student currently enrolled in an approved entry-level massage therapy training school or program in the US
• The student must be in good standing with their massage school and passing all classes
