Clinical Services
We offer chiropractic, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage therapy and nurse practitioner services. All services are provided by student interns who are supervised by faculty clinicians of Northwestern Health Sciences University – with the exception of the services offered by our nurse practitioner.
You receive a treatment plan based on the diagnosis of the intern and their supervisor. You may seek healthcare advice from both the intern and their supervisor.
Chiropractic
The goal of chiropractic care is to relieve pain and improve the body’s overall physical function. Your doctor will take a health history, examine you, determine a diagnosis, and recommend a treatment plan. You might be treated with a variety of techniques and therapies to help you achieve optimal health.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine
Acupuncture relieves pain, restores vitality and enhances life. Acupuncture works by stimulating the body at prescribed points using sterile disposable needles no thicker than a human hair.
Acupuncturists often prescribe Chinese herbal formulas to deepen the effect of treatment and complete the healing changes that acupuncture has begun.

Massage therapy
Massage is a therapy designed to relieve pain, promote health and wellness, prevent injuries and rejuvenate the body. We provide relaxation, therapeutic and rehabilitative massage services. Our nationally-certified therapists have mastered techniques and therapies to treat your specific condition.

Nurse practitioner services
Nurse practitioner services are provided by an advanced practice registered nurse who specializes in the care of chronic or acute conditions. The nurse practitioner focuses on you as a whole patient - beyond your immediate symptoms - treating the illness, counseling, and providing education to enhance your quality of life. Our nurse practitioner services are offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and the Center for Spirituality & Healing.
