Naturopathic medicine is a form of health care that consists of diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders by using natural methods, medicines and remedies. It is based on the foundation that your body has the ability to self-heal by focusing on balancing its immune, hormonal, nervous and detoxification systems. It promotes wellness, general health and prevention.

Treatment approaches include nutrition, lifestyle counseling, botanical or herbal medicine, homeopathy, and detoxification. Your naturopathic doctor may require lab tests to assist with your diagnosis and treatment plan.
