The program and clubs on campus offered such diverse interests.
Dr. Thuy Katzenberger knew from a young age that she wanted to work in health care, but it wasn’t until she researched chiropractic that she found her calling. “Chiropractic allowed me to use my hands as well as my mind to help people with their conditions. It allowed me to integrate my intuition with science, to change lives.”
Once she decided on chiropractic, Dr. Katzenberger says the decision to attend Northwestern was easy. “Northwestern just fit. The campus and the people were friendly. The program and clubs on campus offered such diverse interests.”
While attending Northwestern, she says she most enjoyed the camaraderie with the other students. “The clubs offered information on many different interests, from Sports Council Club to Motion Palpation Club and much more.”
Dr. Katzenberger says Northwestern helped her land where she is today, a group practice caring for athletes of all levels. “The strong foundation in anatomy and the other sciences at Northwestern gave me a springboard to focus on my interest in sports and rehab. Our practitioners at my clinic use rehabilitation, acupuncture and manual therapies to treat patients.”
Dr. Katzenberger believes that, as with anything in life, school is what you make of it. “Northwestern offers an environment that supports growth and development, no matter what you decide upon.”
