Canadian Tuition Currency Exchange Adjustment
A tuition adjustment is offered to incoming Canadian students. It is available to students who have applied to the:
Doctor of Chiropractic program
- Current NWHSU tuition is adjusted by the currency exchange rate between the Canadian and U.S. dollars at the beginning of the trimester, with a maximum reduction of 25% of tuition.
Eligibility requirements
- Must be a Canadian citizen
- A student must meet all admissions requirements for final enrollment into the Doctor of Chiropractic Program
Scholarship limit
Recipients of tuition adjustment may not receive additional Northwestern Scholarships for Incoming Students (the Legacy, Merit or the Sweere Scholarship for Single Parents). However, recipients of tuition adjustment may apply for the Diversity Scholarship.
Students are not eligible to receive a combination of scholarships and/or tuition remission benefits totaling more than 100% of the cost of their tuition.

Incoming students apply for the Canadian Tuition Currency Exchange Adjustment during the application process in the Student Application Portal. Start your application today. If you have already submitted your admissions application and you feel you qualify for the Canadian Tuition Currency Exchange Adjustment, please reach out to Admissions at admit@nwhealth.edu for assistance.
Award notification
A letter of award will be sent by the Scholarship Committee and Office of Admissions upon final confirmation of eligibility. You can also review scholarship applications and awards through the Student Application Portal.

Upon receipt of tuition adjustment, an adjustment may be made to your financial aid package to meet federal regulations and institutional policies.
